The country that I would like to visit

One of the country that I would like to visit someday is Russia. Some of my friends usually laughed when they heard about this because they think that Russia is so cold and looks so gloomy. But for me Russia has its own characteristic that make me interested to go there. There are three reason why I choose Russia as the first country that should be visited.

            The first reason is the history behind the Russia its self. Since I was in elementary school I always have interest in history, especially a history that related with Russia. The history of princess Anastasia was the first history that made me curious and wanted to know more about Russia. Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova was the young daughter of Tsar Nikolai II or known as Tsar Nicholas II. Many people believed that she and her brother Alexie were the only family who saved from the hecatomb of their family on July 1918. In fact, both Anastasia and Alexie didn’t saved from the tragedy. Her life was also being a cartoon movie with her name as the title.

            The second reason is the architecture in Russia. When I watched a traveling program on tv that took location in Russia, I fell in love with the architecture of building in there. It looks so unique and beautiful at the same time. For example the building of  Saint Basil's Cathedral

 

This church have so many roof that shaped like cone and looks so colorful like a castle in the fantasy world. The other building is “Qolşärif Mosque”. The mosque architecture is so elegant and fascinated especially in the night. This mosque is the largest mosque in Russia. The style of most building in Russia have European architecture which is mixed with Asian style. It makes the building looks so elegant yet classy, and old fashion but gorgeous. The other place that I would like to visit when I go to Russia is “Arbat street”. Arbat is an old street in Russia which is very popular not only in Moskow but also in the world.

The third reason is the clime in Russia. Russia have winter season for five months started from November until March, spring from April until May, summer from June until August, and autumn from September to October. When summer is coming the sun will go down at 22:00 pm. So we will have a long day to spend and I will have much time to go around the city without being fear of dark. But when the winter is begin the temperature can be under the freezing point. That makes me more interested to go there since the clime in Indonesia is warm and we never had snow, so I think it must be a good experience to feel how does it feel live in a country that have long winter season? Unfortunately now, Russia have an extreme climate. In the summer the temperature is up to 40 celcius degree or more, and in the winter the temperature is colder than before. Yet it still didn’t decrease my interest to go there.

That’s all the reason why I want to go to Russia. Actually there are so many reason why I want to go to Russia, but it will take too long if I write all the reason here. Oh, one more thing that I almost forget is I can wear so many coat if I go to Russia. I really like coat because it look so fashionable and elegant to wear, but since I live in Indonesia I can’t wear it now because it will look weird if I do that. Maybe I should be patient and wait until I can go to Russia, so that I can wear and buy many coat hehe ☺.
